Analytical Description

Janka Szendrei lists this fragment as one of uncertain Hungarian origin (see Bibliography, F 32). The sequence of the Alleluia-verses after Pentecost does not support the Esztergom provenance. Dom. 12. here: All. Domine refugium factus, in Esztergom: All. Domine Deus salutis, Dom. 13. here: All. Venite exsultemus Domino, in Esztergom: All. Domine refugium factus). However, the fragment has similarities with manuscripts originating from the Northern part of Medieval Hungary (present-day Slovakia), eg. the Graduale Scepusiense, f. 133r–135r, comp. http://cantus http://cantus.sk/source/6778.sk/source/6778).
